The Department of Health Services Research, Management and Policy prepares highly qualified and motivated students to become effective managers and leaders of health care and public health organizations. Students in this department often serve as active participants and leaders at the University of Florida and in the professional and health services communities after graduation. The Department of Health Services Research, Management and Policy offers degree programs at the master’s level. The Master of Health Administration (M.H.A.) in program prepares individuals for management positions in the health care field. The Department also participates in the Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree in program. by offering a concentration in Public Health Management and Policy. Health services research is a multidisciplinary field that examines the delivery, organization, financing, and outcomes of health care services.
